Seminar at Griffith University in Brisbane, Australia on Microfluidics in Oncology

Microfluidics in Oncology seminar at Griffith University
Dr. Papautsky was honored to present a seminar at Griffith University in Brisbane, Australia, on the role of microfluidics in advancing cancer diagnostics and personalized therapeutics. The talk explored how inertial microfluidics enables direct isolation of circulating tumor cells (CTCs) from whole blood, supporting minimally invasive cancer monitoring. He also highlighted emerging microfluidic platforms for 3D culture of patient-derived tumor tissues, offering new avenues for drug screening and personalized treatment planning. These integrated technologies are paving the way for precision oncology by enabling real-time insights into disease progression and therapeutic response.
